I long to see your face.
In the taste of Sweetness
I long to kiss your lips.
In the shadows of passion
I long for your love.
In gradina de trandafiri si in livada
Mi-e dor sa-Ti vad fata
In gustul dulcetii
mi-e dor sa-ti sarut buzele
in umbrele pasiunii
mi-e dor de Iubirea Ta

Oh! Supreme Lover!
Let me leave aside my worries.
The flowers are blooming
with the exultation of your Spirit.
Oh!Indragostule Suprem!
Lasa-ma sa-mi arunc grijile.

By Allah!
I long to escape the prison of my ego
and lose myself
in the mountains and the desert.
Pe ALlah!
Mi-e dor sa scap de inchisoarea egoului
si sa ma pierd
in munti si in desert!


These sad and lonely people tire me.
Acesti oameni tristi si singuratici ma obosesc.

I long to revel in the drunken frenzy of your love
and feel the strength of Rustam in my hands.
Mi-e dor sa mi te revelezi
in extazul beatific al iubirii Tale
si sa simt puterea lui Rustam in miinile mele.


I’m sick of mortal kings.
M-am saturat de regii muritori.
I long to see your light.
Mi-e dor sa-Ti vad Lumina.

With lamps in hand
the sheiks and mullahs roam
the dark alleys of these towns
not finding what they seek.
Cu lampi in mina
sheicii si mullahii ratacesc
prin aleile intunecate ale acestor orase
negasind ceea ce cauta.

You are the Essence of the Essence,
Tu esti Esenta Esentelor
The intoxication of Love.
intoxicarea cu Iubire.

I long to sing your praises
but stand mute
with the agony of wishing in my heart.
MI-e dor sa-ti cint laude
dar stau mut
cu agonia acestei dorinte in inima mea.
